                              One of the ways to prevent corrosion in a water distribution system is to control the pH of water.\u00a0 <\/span>By doing so, you can ensure the pH is not too low, and protect the water facilities from rusting.<\/span><\/p>\n

                              Low pH is essentially acidic water.\u00a0 <\/span>The lower the pH, the more acidic the water.\u00a0 <\/span>For example,\u00a0 <\/span>a pH of 1 is extremely acidic.\u00a0 <\/span>You would never see a water supply with a pH that low.\u00a0 <\/span>A pH of 7 is considered neutral, while a pH of 14 is a very strong base.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

                              Lastly, make sure to learn the basic requirements of sampling.\u00a0 <\/span>At first, it may seem confusing, but it\u2019ll become crystal-clear over time.\u00a0 It’s an important topic for the\u00a0water operator certification test.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
